Get ready for a major transformation! Norwich, a charming UK city, is gearing up for a significant makeover, with plans to construct what's being touted as England's very own 'new Venice.' The project will also include the redevelopment of the Carrow Works site, where Colman's Mustard was produced for an impressive 160 years.
The East Norwich project, which began with the formation of an East Norwich Delivery Board in 2022, involves local councils and Homes England. The city council optimistically views this as an opportunity to transform over 50 hectares of underused land into one of Europe's most livable neighborhoods.

In addition to East Norwich, other regeneration efforts are underway, including the demolition of the outdated Anglia Square shopping center. This will make way for 1,100 new homes and 8,000 square meters of leisure, retail, and community space. A temporary 'boxpark' concept, similar to those in London, has already attracted significant interest, with 500 businesses vying for just 83 units.
